The Japanese Student Association (JSA) celebrates Japanese heritage while striving to promote education and awareness for various aspects of the country, all while providing a homey community for anyone who wants to cultivate their interests in Japanese culture.

Co-Chair
Kaitlin Kitagawa is a junior majoring in Bioengineering, originally from Maui, Hawaii. She is excited to support the JSA community and help showcase Japanese culture on campus. Her favorite JSA event is Matsuri, and she looks forward to continuing the tradition with members this year. In her free time, she enjoys crochet, baking, and music.

Co-Chair
Kensei Asai is a junior majoring in Finance, originally from Tokyo, Japan. He is looking forward to introducing the Japanese culture and traditions to the campus through gen meetings and events. In his free time, he enjoys watching soccer and baseball games, and music.
